Different tab positions on the jig facilitate the attachment process. A soft rubber pad is attached to the bottom of the jig to protect the board when placing the jig. The outer perimeter of the jig has a beveled edge to give the jig a narrower bottom and to facilitate lifting the jig.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe positioning of the router jig on the board is facilitated by inserting the\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003elayout guide\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003einto the jig insert. This base incorporates a bushing guide, enabling the utilization of a cost-effective straight router bit. It is also wider than the standard base for improved stability on the jig during the routing process. While its use is optional, a router bit with a bearing will be necessary if not employed. It is crucial to ensure that the router bit used is precisely sized to create a cavity for the box accurately.
